Equipment Deposits and Refunds Policy

Equipment Deposits

We require a security deposit on all items that will leave the premises. These can range from $15.00 to $500.00, depending upon the piece of equipment. You can pay the deposit at the time of booking, or pay the deposit at the time of pickup. The Equipment Deposit is fully refundable upon confirmation that the equipment was used properly, was not damaged, and was returned by the agreed upon date. It is the responsibility of the customer to properly use the equipment and ensure that, under no circumstances, it is damaged. Please read our Equipment Rental Agreement, found on our FAQ’s page, before purchasing a rental.

We reserve the right to withhold all or part of your Equipment Deposit if:

1. The rental equipment is returned damaged in any way

Both BrewRentals and the customer will inspect all equipment prior to the equipment leaving the premises.

Both BrewRentals and the customer will inspect all equipment when the equipment is returned to determine if any damage has occurred.

2. The rental equipment is returned after the agreed upon return date by 12:00 pm.

3. Late Returns will be charged a minimum of one extra rental day at the rate that the equipment was rented out at if returned after 12:00 pm. From there, each day that the equipment is not returned, another rental day will be added to the total charges.

4. The rental equipment is returned dirty/unwashed

If you DID NOT choose Hassle Free Cleaning, and you return the equipment dirty, as defined by our Best Practices Cleaning Guide, an extra Cleaning Fee of $25.00 will be added to the total charges. How Will I Receive My Refund?

Your refund will be issued to the original card that was used to make the initial payment. Upon receipt and confirmation that the equipment was returned un-damaged, we will issue the refund within 24 hours, and you will see the refund reflected in your account within 5 – 7 business days. If the equipment was returned late or damaged, the extra fees will be reflected in the refund amount. You will be notified when you drop off the equipment if any extra fees were incurred.
